Fat Injections
Fat injections, also known as liposculpture or fat transfer, provide effective lip augmentation, in addition to filling in wrinkles and creases in the face. This aesthetic enhancement procedure involves taking fat cells from one area of the body, typically the back or buttocks, and injecting them into the lips or other areas of the face. The substance is from your own body, so there is no need for allergy testing. Fat injections are often desirable methods of facial rejuvenation because they are known to have long-lasting results, some patients maintain original results for years. Follow-up treatments can keep the aesthetic benefits of fat injections going for many more years to come. Fat injection typically takes less than an hour to complete, and there is no recovery time.
